Hagerstown, MD - GST is pleased to announce that Steve Jeske has joined GST AutoLeather as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing and Product Development effective September 1, 2004.
Steve has held senior level sales and marketing positions at Collins and Aikman Corporation, GDX Automotive and American Axle and Manufacturing, Inc. In his last position at American Axle he managed the Ford and DCX accounts. During his tenure at Collins and Aikman, where Steve and I had the opportunity to work together, Steve gained extensive experience in the interior trim business, and had a broad exposure to the global market. Steve, a Detroit native, began his career in 1979 as a product manger for Collins and Aikman fabric product line at the automotive headquarters located outside Charlotte, NC. Steve then rose to higher levels of responsibility eventually rising to the job of Senior Vice President, Sales/Marketing and Product Development managing an organization of 100 professionals and a global customer base.
Steve brings to GST a set of unique qualifications that have been focused on our specific sector for more than twenty five (25) years. His product knowledge and relationship with global OEMs and Tier I customers will be a valuable asset in the overall GST growth strategy.
Steve will be located in Detroit area office where he currently resides with his wife Tammy and two sons, Tyler and Trevor. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a BS in Business Management.
